This piece was premiered at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire by Meng-Hua Lin on December 7th 2022.

Microcosmic is for vibraphone and tape.

This piece explores small cells of material developing throughout the piece. The percussionist feels a need to respond to the tape part or vice versa, as they are imitating each other and triggering certain textures. All sounds within this piece are from, or played by, a vibraphone.
